Our very own David McQuilliams joined 600+ volunteers made up of Home Depot vendors and employees, to renovate two housing complexes in the SLC community for at risk and homeless Veterans. We partnered with local charity, The Housing Authority of Salt Lake City, to install raised garden beds and a serenity garden, assemble grills, create a new dog park with 50+ pet beds for residents, build custom seating and shade structures, landscape, install fencing, plant trees and more.
They also were able to raise over $12 million put towards the Home Depot Foundation’s mission to create affordable and accessible housing solutions for veterans, serve communities impacted by natural disasters and train the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
