SRP Companies Implements RFID Technology to Provide Better Service to Customers

As an industry leader, Strategic Retail Partners will be first to market with RFID technology. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology will help SRP improve inventory processes and provide better service to our convenience store customers. SRP is rolling out the technology to all our SBT-only stores throughout 2021. We will move to combination stores next year, with the goal of completing implementation by 2022.

The new inventory system will provide SRP detailed information to help us make real-time, evidence-based decisions on product needs by showing what is and isn’t selling. It will help provide our sales teams with the right products at the right time. Using RFID technology is simpler and more accurate than manual counting and will allow the sales team to provide better service to their customers.

This transition is part of Strategic Retail Partners strategic growth plan to provide innovative products, invest in technology, improve processes, and provide the sales team with the tools they need to provide the best customer experience in the business.
